It's been a while since we have posted any pics of our tables.....we've got a few waiting in the wings, but I thought I would share this chic black and white, with a hint of red, table that we did for a 21st birthday last spring.
Out birthday girl is a dancer so we wanted to create a table that was a little dramatic and a little moulin rouge.... and I love the way it turned out.

These were our custom choc bar wrappers.....we thought it would be a fun to personalise them with the birthday girl's name and birth year as a chocolate company with the year of their establishment.

We did mini Red Velvet cupcakes with cream cheese frosting for the birthday cake with a regular size cupcake for the birthday girl. Our birthday girl is known for always wearing black bows in her hair so we added a sweet little black fondant bow to each cupcake!

We kept the candies co-ordinated to the theme. We featured white jelly beans, lemonade bon petites, strawberry creams, raspberries, red licorice twists (a fond memory for the birthday girl from her school days!), red frogs, marshmallows and white toffee bon bons.

I have to be honest, if someone asked me what would be your ultimate colour combination for a dessert table be?.....red, black and white would probably be on the bottom of my list - I prefer a much softer palette, but we are given a client brief and a client brief we work with, and, I must say...... I was pleased with how this table came together, it was black, white and red done with style!
